The Road to October 9th
The eAfrica Awards operate on a strict, transparent schedule to ensure the Expert Committee has ample time to conduct deep macroeconomic and data-driven analysis on every finalist.
Current Status: We are currently in Phase 1. The official nomination portal is open for public, B2B, and self-nominations. Enterprises seeking recognition as drivers of Southern Africa’s digital economy must submit their credentials before the June 30th cutoff.

Nominations Open
The ERITE portal officially begins accepting submissions across all 15 enterprise categories. Both third-party and direct corporate submissions are logged for initial baseline compliance checks.
30 June 2026
Nominations Close
The portal is locked. The ERITE committee begins the Phase 2 filtering process, verifying operational status, regulatory standing, and market presence before releasing the public shortlist.
14 July 2026
Public Voting Commences
The official shortlist is presented for market consensus. This 20% weighting phase gauges consumer trust, retail footprint, and overall brand loyalty within the Southern African ecosystem.
09 October 2026
The Gala Dinner
Following the final 80% expert adjudication by the committee, the ultimate victors are announced live at the Taj Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka, Zambia, in front of the region’s top corporate and institutional leaders.
